Vas'ka has very expressive eyes. But sometimes he looks like a little bit crazy, It always ends with funny jumps and grimaces, as if he deliberately makes us laugh. That is why I like this picture.

When Vas'ka was a kitten, he was very fond of playing with this toy dog. But now he does not have to play with any soft toys, because Yashka immediately takes them away from him.

Vas'ka and Yashka always sit next to me at my desk after breakfast. Either they are watching what is happening outside the window, or they are simply dozing.

He either sleeps in this chair or watches the puppy. This is my chair, but while I was unwell and did not use it, Vas'ka took a fancy to it and now does not want to give in

Vas'ka advises to wait out the heat this way: to sleep in the house during the day, and in the evening to sleep in the patio, on the stones heated in the afternoon. That is, sleep 24 hours a day! :-)

Vas'ka wanted to play with Mot'ka and jumped on the dog from the chair he was sitting. Mot'ka was so frightened that couldn't lie down on his bed fearing a new cat attack... Mot'ka is 9 y.o. - and Vas'ka is young (will be 2 in May) and playful :-)

When Mot'ka notices we are going to leave the house, he is always has that question in his eyes... He looks funny after last visit to the groomer. He has too much elf-locks on his ears that she cut off all the hair on his ears.

Ka’ena Point, the northwestern most tip of the Hawaiian island of O’ahu, is to my back here. This smallish triangle of land at the point of the island is fenced off to protect the Laysan albatross nesting colony in front of me from predators that would raid their nests and eat their eggs.

We had nice clouds after some rain in the Silicon Valley. I headed to Alviso and I waited at the Amtrak train tracks for a train.
In Japanese, どですかでん (dodeskaden) is the sound a train makes when racing over tracks. I remembered this old film of the same name directed by Akira Kurosawa.
I processed a balanced HDR photo from a RAW long exposure, and carefully pulled the curves.
