Had this Bahay Kubo built 2012, with happiness and heartaches when I realized they didn't follow my design. I spent more than I would for a simple Bahay Kubo, as this was redone few times already in the past. Cow boy carpenters are a problem and when you build something when you are not there to keep an eye on, gives room for ugly errors that makes your head spin when you see it. By the way, this is built on my inherited land. Thanks Yahuah for the blessing. This is where I based most my time when on holiday if not visiting other islands. Where my heart is - home.

Quincy, Ca.

I love Quincy, but this is one of the ugliest movie theaters I've seen lately.

from the Philippines

I rocked this freight last night in Mexico City with my dog Kubo (Lekso y Mers not in flick). When we rolled up to the yard there was a group of 35 immigrants waiting to hop trains, in hopes of reaching America. We rocked both sides of the freight and everything was going according to planned. We took our flicks (flashes in the night galore) and bounced. As we were leaving a rail worker came up to us and asked us what was in our bags, where we were from, if we were painting the trains and why were we taking photos. We told him there was coffee in our bags and we had just come from a party. The dude wasn't having it. He called his homie who rolled up in the white truck with lights and he was a little cooler. We shot him 100 pesos and went on our way. It seems like getting roped painting in Mexico is a breeze if you shoot some bread.

Not my Picture!! Thanks to Kris for pointing out this DELICIOUS picture of an artist's rendition of the beautiful Lady Amalthea, I just love how otherworldly her eyes look, so beautiful and deep... Hope this helps!

bahay kubo is the tagalog word for nipa hut, a shelter made out of bamboo and palm leaves. because of its material which allows good ventilation, it is a good place to take rest and eat typical food in the farm which includes rice, grilled fish like catfish and carp, with sauce, usually a concoction of soy, calamansi and chili pepper for those who like it spicy.

Bahay Kubo or nipa hut, is a type of house indigenous to the Philippines.

Range: 740 meters

Extras: Any rail attachment, 50, 120, 300 round belt, silencer/suppressor, sling, bipod

The EbonyCore GPMG12, or Kubo, is a 5.56mm belt fed light machinegun. It fires at an astonishing 1000 rpm, giving the weapon quite hefty recoil. To counteract this, it comes standard with a rail mounted grip, as well as sling attachment points and a bipod mount. The Kubo is used as a squad support weapon, providing fast and accurate cover fire when needed. It is often mounted on vehicles such as light tanks, APC's, humvees and even some aircraft. It has an adjustable stock, attached EbonyCore ACSS (Advanced Combat Sighting System), as well as holographic BUIS. Like all other EbonyCore weapons, this fearsome machinegun is completely modular.

This was first built in 2012 but something badly wrong happened on the design, it wasn't my design followed and I almost screamed and cry the moment I saw the Bahay kubo.

The carpenter didn't follow my design and my late Dad, who at the time did this project for me went with the

the carpenter's own convictions and changed my design. Carpenters can be a problem sometimes and will take advantage, to make the job complicated and prolonged the job . I'm not saying every Carpenter is, but there are bad one and beware of the cowboys.

I have altered this few times during my vacation time. Lessons learned, if you're building something , make sure you're there on the spot to watch the job , keep an eye nothing is messed up. The cost went up 10 times along the way during several alterations on each trip , money and big emotions wasted for jobs that should have been done, had they been done well. I have to move the shower, the toilet and the kitchen at different points in the Kubo. So the new carpenters had to break the cement walls on the process. It's depressing and annoying to watch, as those walls means my money spent and just to get rid of them too soon because of somebody's wrong decision.

The best souvenir was from Universal Studios Laika Experience (there until August 28th). I regretted not getting the Coraline doll/replicas (I got the PVC set of her, in her raincoat fortunately though), so I couldn't say no to Kubo.

He is beautifully detailed, and a good weight. I love his pose; like he jumped straight out of the movie. He was made to celebrate Laika's 10 anniversary, and was available for $100.
