PH-BQI, a Boeing 777-206ER, taxiing towards runway 06L at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario. It was departing as KLM692 (Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij N.V., operating as KLM Royal Dutch Airlines) to Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

"Iguazu Falls" was wearing the special livery of KLM Asia. Unlike KLM's standard livery, this variant does not include the flags of The Netherlands or of the European Union, and the KLM logo lacks the Dutch royal crown.

An airplane engine like this has a diameter of about 3,2 meters, large enough to fit a small car inside. A curious fact is that it can generate enough thrust to move an entire freight train, showcasing the immense power required to keep an airplane in the air. Interesting, isn’t it?

Zaterdag 10 mei 1986 staat de 4011 met zijn KLM-bestickering op spoor 1 in Zutphen ter gelegenheid van het 'Bruggenfeest' dat toen werd gehouden. Het treinstel was toen nog redelijk nieuw. Deze foto heb ik ingescand, dat valt goed te zien aan de kwaliteit. In het echt is de foto nog gaaf.
