Following the making of Hardcase, I have now made Kix. To be honest, I'm not too fond of the helmet; I think this design looks a little strange on the Lego helmet and better on an Arealight helmet. Nonetheless, it came out nicely.

If you have been to OSAKA airport you'd probably recognize this photo. It is the ceiling of the airport. I heard it is designed that way mainly for airflow inside the building. It's pretty remarkable.
*update* KIX is the airport code for Osaka International Airport. I used to track all the airport codes when I was traveling back then.

It's been a while, sorry for the inactivity. Things have been really busy lately with school.
Anyways, to add to our 501st series, here's Kix! Being one of my favorite clones, I put a lot of detail into him, especially the stripe that wraps around his leg. I tried my best with the battle damage here, and I think it turned out all right ~ I managed to get the blue markings on his arms and leg to wrap all the way around, so it has a really nice effect!
Well anyways, as always, expect more, and comments speak louder than faves! I'd really like to hear your feedback on this one since he's one of my favorites.

I wish I could really take pictures of this airport. It is one of the most specticular buildings I have ever seen. The roof line looks like a giant wing of a plane weighted down at the ends. In fact, the roofline would make a circle a kilometer around if you followed the line into the ground, sea....kind of funny to think about since the airport is sinking into the sea faster than expected.
Now with new visor, arm, and leg templates, Kix looks even better! If you didn't notice, the visor has a much high resolution and looks much nicer, as do the legs! I messed up on a few things on this custom, such as the other arm. I also forgot to design the red symbol on his left shoulder. I'll be redoing the parts I messed up on. I'll upload a pic of Rex tomorrow, he's being done right now!
Also please note: the arm decals that have details that go behind the arm (such as Kix, Fives, Echo, etc) are NOT easy to apply! I need to redesign it so application is easy. In order to do these decals, I had to crop the decal itself so it would conform to the surface. If I can't have this problem fixed, I'm afraid I can't sell these decals.
