The nose of ES40DC #5246 pops out of Big Bend Tunnel as it leads CSXT K410 east along the Alleghaney Sub. in Talcott, Wv.
El coche 1613 es un Scania K410 IB6X2 con carrocería Castrosua Stellae que procede de la empresa Titsa de Santa Cruz de Tenerife donde tenía la calca 2700.
Lo vemos descansando en el final de la línea 21 que une Barcelona con La Pineda.

A CSX EMD SD60I leads a Norfolk Southern D9-40C standard cab engine, as they pull a string of empty ethanol tanker cars Northbound on the CSX W&A Subdivision at Emerson, GA.
One of the four new Boa Vista’s ordered for Edwards Coaches. Originally National Express ordered the first batch with 79(?) seats, but they weighed a bit too much and they have been off the road for quite a few months to have work done. They’re now all back on the road and they’ve got another four (BU18OTA-BU18OTD) to top up the 040, making it mainly double deck operated. They’ve now only got 73 seats and have had tables put in, and look identical to this brand new batch. These are ordered on the Scania K410 chassis.

Wonderful to see double-deck coaches returning to National Express services. The new order is represented here by BV66 WPO, a 14.2m Scania K410UB6/Caetano Boa Vista CH63/16FLt coach, recently delivered to Edwards, Llantwit Fardre. Five similar vehicles are to operate directly for National Express on the A3 London-Luton service.

A pair of CSX GEVOs pop out of the old C&O Big Bend Tunnel in Talcott, WV with eastbound oil train K410. Big Bend Tunnel is the site of the John Henry "The Steel Driving Man" legend.

Prentice Westwood collected their first Scania K410 Omni express C53Ft. A second hand example is to follow shortly.

April 2, 2016: A CSX EMD SD60I leads a Norfolk Southern D9-40C standard cab engine, as they pull a string of empty ethanol tanker cars on CSX K410 (Tampa, FL-Chicago, IL) Northbound on the CSX W&A Subdivision at the Lakepoint S curve in Emerson, GA. Sadly, both of these engines, along with all the others of these type, are no longer with their companies.
Heading the other way a short while later were a pair of new vehicles en route to Ulsterbus, although you could be forgiven for thinking they were on their way to Tyrers at Chorley ! This is from a batch of 12 Scania K410 low-floor chassis with Caetano bodies - I don't know if the body has its own name, but it looks pretty much like a double-deck Levante. I await correction ....

The 23rd May 2026 saw Wembley Stadium host the EFL Championship Playoff Final between Hull City and Middlesbrough, with many coaches heading to London. One such vehicle pictured transporting fans to the game was YS25 UVJ, a Scania K410CB6/Higer Touring coach new to Johnsons, Henley-in-Arden, Warwickshire in August 2025.

End of last year i had confirmation that an old employer had landed a new contract with National Express. Now sa you all know i Love National express work, but this company i doubt very much would have m back on this contract due to the big fall out in the summer. Harry Shaw have landed the contract for the 230 Derby - Gatwick service .The first coach to arrive for the service arrived i think on Friday .Seen in the yard is BX65WCU a Scania K410 / Caetano Levante C57FTL. Captured by the camera on 17th May, 2016 at Beaufort Park Hotel, New Brighton, Mold is Baker's "Gold Service" March, 2014 registered Irizar PB bodied Scania K410 EB6 which amply accommodates its passengers with just 39 seats.
With the total suspension of the National Express network once again, many branded coaches are finding use in rail replacement work. This is Lucketts Scania K410 Caetano Levante BV69 KTF - new to deCourceys- in Basingstoke today, 7th February, 2021.

I don't tend to take a lot of National Express photos but made an exception for Scania K410 GA288 (BV19 XOU) in Basingstoke yesterday, 9th January 2021, with the knowledge that services are going to be suspended for the second time for an indefinite period from Midnight tonight. This one is operated in-house under the West Midlands Travel licence.
