The Algoway left harbor last night - on her way back to work after a winter sleep. She had been ballasted stern deep and bow high for the past few weeks to allow work on a maneuvering thruster. Prior to that her engines were torn down and rebuilt with a couple of new pistons. More recently, additional ballast leveled the hull, welded boarding ladders were removed, mooring lines shortened, and her engines were run up.
She was launched from the Collingwood shipyards in 1972 and is showing her age - coming to the end of her service life soon. However, the crew getting her ready for the 2017 shipping season looked to be a terrific bunch of people, who clearly took pleasure in the work.
For this image, the choice of color or black and white simply came down to the fact that I think B&W does old things more justice.
Covered bridge in Long Grove, Illinois.
Took a break from work to walk in the streets of historic Long Grove, my neighboring town.
This bridge has been hit many times and still stands.
After a brief and unsuccessful chase of the loaded coal drag seen earlier, we were lucky to get empties headed the other direction, and began our chase here at Justice.

Justice is a Lillycat bjd 41 cm in caramel she is my first art doll my pictures have been a little lack luster lately so here`s hoping she will inspire me to do Better!!! LOL ^____^
I built a bunch of medieval execution and torture devices back in November for a school project and am showcasing a few of them here. I guess you could say this build is a part one of two, with part two coming in two years or so. Yup, this is my last build for the next two years. I'll say more in my 2021 recap that I'll post soon.
This build was quite fun and the execution methods especially were exciting to design. I'm particularly proud of my stock design and the chopping block.
This is also my entry to the Rogues & Outlaws category of Brickscalibur.
