. . . While walking around the Iris Farm this week, a total stranger saw me with my camera and compelled me to examine this poppy!

Now I can tell you exactly why Einstein argued that space must be curved, but I never took an art history class, to nail down exactly who and what Georgia O'Keeffe had accomplished in her life! A good lesson for a photographer . . .

Have a great Friday and weekend Facebook, Flickr, and 500px friends!

Still playing with the hundreds of pics from our trip to Snowdonia at the beginning of June. On our way there, we stopped off at the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, just east of Llangollen. Although it was a warm and sunny day, it was also very windy, almost Too windy to fly the Phantom but, having made the diversion to get there, I had to give it a go.

Wikipedia says "The aqueduct carries the Llangollen Canal over the valley of the River Dee in Wrexham County Borough in north east Wales. Completed in 1805, it is the longest and highest aqueduct in Great Britain, a Grade I Listed Building and a World Heritage Site. The viaduct carries a water passage for a single canal narrow boat as well as a towpath for pedestrians, and is now a popular tourist excursion; boat trips cross the viaduct and return".

Another shot from last week's visit to The National Trust's "Flag-ship", Bodnant Gardens. Just an amazing place!

water still visible in crater. short but regular fountaining.

This cross-country ski shelter was very close to our campsite, so when we'd just made dinner and it started to rain, we decided to eat there. It was decadent.

This guy sat there a long time...I think he just enjoyed the view!
