Christmas decorations seem to come earlier and earlier every year. These decorations are in front of the "General Store" in Jefferson, TX (in the northeastern part of the state).

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIEWS, COMMENTS AND FAVES, ETC.
Today, at work, we had a baby shower for 2 staff in our office. One thing everyone gets excited for are cupcakes made by another staff. She makes really decadent, guilty pleasure cupcakes

Daily Dog Challenge: Visual Christmas Carol.
One of my favourite Christmas Carols; Kahn and Etta look like they're singing, joyfully!
Even with dirty tongues!
How do they do that?
The Sun brings joy to the world, at least it does to my world.
The sun comes with a casual elegance as free-spun laughter to the land, igniting a cheery glow. Igniting the world anew with such brilliance. Each day she shone, and the world shone back, joyful to reflect those warm rays. Only in the light of the sun can our most vivid hues sing so loud.

Festive images aplenty these days.
This is one side of a diptych that I'm doing but I'm not happy with the other part so I thought I'd revisit it tomorrow and if it still looks odd, I'll know it's a bad idea.
Have a lovely evening!

Joy to the world! the Lord is come;
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart
prepare him room,
And heaven and nature sing,
And heaven and nature sing,
And heaven, and heaven, and nature sing.
Joy to the world! the Saviour reigns;
Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods,
rocks, hills, and plains
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat, repeat the sounding joy.
No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make
His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found,
Far as the curse is found,
Far as, far as, the curse is found.
He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His
righteousness,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders, wonders, of His love.
And He shall reign forever and forever -- King of Kings... Lord of Lords... Hallelujah, Hallelujah.... Halleluuuuujaaaah!
Happy Holidays....Whatever you celebrate and wherever you are.

It is Christmas 2021! This year through Christmas songs of praise by our carolers in Old Town, Paprihaven celebrates the Lord Jesus Christ coming to take our form to save the lost.
🎵 Joy to the World, the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing. 🎶
O sing to the Lord a new song,
For He has done wonderful things,
His right hand and His holy arm have gained the victory for Him.
The Lord has made known His salvation;
He has revealed His righteousness in the sight of the nations.
He has remembered His lovingkindness and His faithfulness to the house of Israel;
All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
Interestingly, the most famous and popular Christmas song of all time was not written about Christmas. Christmas celebrates the first coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. His first coming was not to judge, but to save. Joy To The World was penned by Isaac Watts after Psalm 98 which speaks of the second coming, in which Christ Jesus will judge the earth. (v9) Nonetheless, the joy in the victory and righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ is celebratory at all times.
🎵 Joy to the World, the Savior reigns!
Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy. 🎶
4 Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth;
Break forth and sing for joy and sing praises.
Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre,
With the lyre and the sound of melody.
With trumpets and the sound of the horn
Shout joyfully before the King, the Lord.
🎵 He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders, wonders, of His love.
Joy to the World, the Lord is come! 🎶
Let the sea roar and all it contains,
The world and those who dwell in it.
Let the rivers clap their hands,
Let the mountains sing together for joy
Before the Lord, for He is coming to judge the earth;
He will judge the world with righteousness
And the peoples with equity.

Singin'
Joy to the world
All the boys and girls, now
Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea
Joy to you and me
If I were the king of the world
Tell you what I'd do
I'd throw away the cars and the bars and the wars
Make sweet love to you
Singin' now
Joy to the world
All the boys and girls
Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea
Joy to you and me
You know I love the ladies
Love to have my fun
I'm a high night flier and a rainbow rider
