Now he had come with pain , shortening and inability to walk using his left lower limb.

We have to remove the old implant without damaging the Pelvis and it was very challenging. Took 2.30 hrs for extracting the metal head alone without damaging the Pelvis.
REVISION THR was done using a special CAGE . The empty cavity produced by the sinking of head needed 2 FEMORAL HEAD ALLOGRAFT.
Total duration of surgery was 7 hours.
Patient did well. Initially mobilised without putting weight and by 6 weeks full weight bearing started.
He was also started on Medication for bone strengthening.
ALL IS WELL and he too became well,

The Disabled Guy surprised me with a visit from Gregg and at the end of the day, Gregg wanted to stay with me. Also, I tried to walk with just a cane today. It was shaky and I was slow, but I did it. Tomorrow I'm going to try to get into a normal tub-shower. If I can do that, then I can go home. (that's what has been keeping me here, my daughter's house has a walk-in shower and everything I need on one floor). So, fingers crossed!
A really BIG arrow because they replaced my entire knee in my right leg. I had my left one done seven years ago and lemme tell ya, by comparison, this is SO MUCH better! I mean, look at me! I'm a little tired, but I'm not in agony. I'm extremely optimistic about being able to handle Bristol in seven weeks.
