For this entry in the "Love is in the Air " contest, I decided to go with a more traditional interpretation of Love. I wanted the colors to be vibrant to stand for the essence of Love.
I am sooo grateful to the gorgeous Jyotsana Johar (ayudhapurusha) for participating to this, and her amazing patience. Also, look at this divine tan lady? Isn't she to die for? I hope you guys will like it ♥. I had much much fun doing that.
Once set on the lateral moraine of Milam glacier, it was smooth walk till the snout point and offered an enjoyable vista to behold....lovely walk indeed along the glacial stream of Gouri Ganga...taken on trek to Nandadevi East Basecamp in Kumaun Himalayas, India

This old lady was a goat seller I met her on the seasonal road side " Mandis" at Gulistan e Johar Karachi. She had so many stories, stories with no words, and stories that can be read with eyes only.
The peak shining on right hand side of this image is Suli Top and stands 6300m high, situated over the eastern flank of Kalabaland Glacier, east of Johar Valley. And on the left is Chiring We (6559m).

It was the fifth day of our trek....on previous four days of trecherous walk we did not see any face of snowy peaks....now, slowly it shows its head....yet, another two days of trek will take us to near the basecamp.

Its name refers to a 'place with snow'. Situated on the banks of Goriganga river, it is a fast-growing tourist destination, and mountaineers, glacier enthusiasts, high altitude trekkers and nature lovers commonly use it as their hub or base camp. Munsiari also falls on the ancient salt route from Tibet and is at the entrance of the Johar Valley, which extends along the path of the Gori ganga river to its source at the Milam Glacier. It is inhabited mainly by people of a few different caste groups including the Shauka tribe, dalits or Scheduled Castes and people categorized in other general castes comprising Kshatriya's, Pandits with a few Muslim, Sikhs, Christians and Buddhists.
