Took a trip up to NYC back in September to shoot The Roots in their rehearsal space at 30 Rock for mural imagery ideas. The space is tiny and I had to shoot everything at extremely high ISO and some ill advised shutter speeds. I was also ordered not to shoot an unnamed name who was in the room rehearsing with them. You can pick out a second named, name if you look closely at least one of the shots. This assignment was every bit as awesome as it looks. Blogged about it here:
Well yesterday Heather called me and said she somehow got two tickets for "band bench" seats for the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon show, featuring Tinted Windows! Tinted Windows is Taylor Hanson's new side project.. with the other members of band consisting of the drummer from Cheap Trick, Bassist from Fountains Of Wayne and the guitar player from The Smashing Pumpkins. So, we went to the city and shopped, had lunch, and headed to NBC studios.

It actually sounded a lot better in person then the video. Their album is really good, Get on it people!
