Took a trip up to NYC back in September to shoot The Roots in their rehearsal space at 30 Rock for mural imagery ideas. The space is tiny and I had to shoot everything at extremely high ISO and some ill advised shutter speeds. I was also ordered not to shoot an unnamed name who was in the room rehearsing with them. You can pick out a second named, name if you look closely at least one of the shots. This assignment was every bit as awesome as it looks. Blogged about it here:

My friend and neighbor, Yuuki, has been touring in Sufjan Stevens' band for the past two months. The tour was wrapped up with Sufjan's network debut on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. We had a viewing party at the Arcadia homestead in Seattle.

Cuando vimos los avances de "Fever Pitch" en el cine, mi novio me miró y me dijo: "De ninguna manera". Augusto soporta desde hace 4 años mi fanatismo por la comedia clásica hollywodense y me ve casi todos los días buscar películas modernas que estén a la altura de "It Happened One Night" (Frank Capra - 1934), "Bringing up baby" (Howard Hawks - 1938), "Man's Favorite Sport?" (H.H - 1964), "Some like it hot"(Billy Wilder - 1959 ) o "Monkey Business" (H.H - 1952) . A veces me pongo contenta porque veo que no todo está perdido y otras veces, encuentro tanta basura, que quiero colgar los guantes...
Para alegría de mi novio, la película de los hermanos Farrelly nunca llegó a los cines. Pero sí llego al video y apenas entró me la traje a casa. Okey, había algunos puntos a favor: actuaba Drew Barrymore, Jimmy Fallon me estaba cayendo cada vez más simpático y era otra comedia basada en una novela de Hornby ("About a boy" y "Alta fidelidad").
La vi sola, tomando una buena taza de café con leche. Y me pareció tan divertida y romántica que sentí que no la podía devolver tan rápido: tenía que verla otra vez. Y otra vez más. Y luego una cuarta vez pero con August. Y aquí viene lo interesante de mi historia... a él le encantó. Y quiso verla de nuevo.
