For the Macro Mondays theme: knolling. It is 3in wide.
Knolling is the process of arranging similar objects in parallel or at 90 degree angles as a method of organisation. The term was first used in 1987 by Andrew Kromelow, a janitor at Frank Gehry's furniture fabrication shop. At the time, Gehry was designing chairs for Knoll, a company famously known for Florence Knoll's angular furniture. Kromelow would arrange any displaced tools at right angles on all surfaces, and called this routine knolling, in that the tools were arranged in right angles—similar to Knoll furniture.
I feel like a failed "knoller". The smaller pearls wouldn't line up straight and the other beads differed in size so it was also difficult to line them up in a straight line.

I got some of those clips you can fasten bags with and put them on a hoop (like a necklace). I think on a bright day I could wear this :)
A photo of Bella wearing a crown or tiara seemed a good idea - but she disagreed! She was willing to inspect jewellery but not to wear it. This is an old necklace, as I needed to use something that wouldn't hurt her & that she couldn't damage. Happy Caturday!

Macro Mondays - Necklace
This is the centre section of 5 linked pieces of a necklace manufactured by 'Miracle Jewellery' based in Birmingham (as embossed on the reverse)
This came into my possession in 2010 and I wrote to the company to ask for any information and approximate date of manufacture. They kindly responded to say.....
"The necklace dates very much from the 1970s but had a short life on the market. The stones are Swarovski chatons and bohemian glass fire opals and moonshines."
MIRACLE Jewellery began manufacturing in Birmingham in 1946 and became a leading British manufacturer of Celtic jewellery, Irish jewellery and Scottish style jewellery.
In May 2013 Miracle moved to Cornwall where it is now made by St Justin, using traditional casting and finishing techniques.
This centre section measure 2.5 inches

Beads used as a background in last week's photo are taking a centre stage for today's theme - Jewerly in Macro Monday's group.
When Gerald Ratner told shareholders of his nationwide, highly successful jewellery business the reason he could sell sparkly looking pieces for so little, was because they were 'Crap', I never forgot. Until then I might well have gone to an H. Samuel, Ratners, Ernest Jones type of place. Not any more. If I'm going to spend a bit of money I don't want 'new'. I want something probably vintage, antique,....something individual......something a bit different. Something I like, even though I will never wear it. Such as this Amethyst and diamond 18ct gold ring. HMM

This black sand beach is formed from a volcanic rocks and sand filled with crystal clear icebergs that are washed up from the sea.
Undoubtedly a place of opportunities to do great and wonderful photos, especially at sunrise or sunset when the light gets that special Glamour lighting up all these jewels.
