The song "Blue Moon" was written in 1934 by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer commissioned the song in 1933 for the film "Hollywood Party" but plans changed and the song was not used. Subsequently the lyrics to the song were rewritten several times and eventually it was recorded by scores of artists including Mel Tormé, Frankie Avalon, The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Sam Cooke, Cyndi Lauper, Bob Dylan, Bing Crosby, the Platters, and Dean Martin.
JetBlue operated a charter for the White House Press Corps in early April. This was taken early in the morning at Andrews Air Force Base outside of Washington, D.C. as they were positioning Air Force One.
