Cultivar: 'Safari Sunset' / 'Jester'.

This is a great place. Kinda reminds me of going out to my grand fathers farm, except for the beer..:) Here's what there website says.

One of my attempts at the "Crazy Tuesday" theme "Crazy/Wacky/Odd/Strange"
When we see someone acting in a way we consider strange or crazy we often tend to reduce the whole person to that in our mind. We almost completely forget about the fact that what we see is only one aspect, maybe even one situation or a single moment in another person‘s life that is probably as nuanced and complicated and certainly as valuable as our own!
I think it‘s important to keep that in mind, and I try to (even though I fail spectacularly most of the time)!

The jester is not necessarily a fool in the king's court.Actually he carries or even turns the world upon its head, and thus making people see the insignificance of many of the things they hold dear in the head.

A jester, court jester, or fool, was historically an entertainer during the medieval and Renaissance eras who was a member in the household of a nobleman or a monarch employed to entertain him and his guests.
A jester was also an itinerant performer who entertained common folk at fairs and markets.
The Medieval jester's cloth hat, called a Fool's hat/cap , was most distinctive consisting of three points with a jingle bell at the end of each point.
Another ‘novelty’ in the tulip world, no name yet, all it said was specialty tulips… to me they look like court-jesters, lol
They are of the smaller variety.

A French Jester's mask is reflected in the bowl of a spoon. I can't spink of a thoonerism for this....:-))

The Jester Pub in Barnet was recently destroyed by fire. A very sad sight... the local community are hoping it will be re-built as soon as possible.
