Forgot to post this one from last month. Lots of giggles and laughter as I rolled her up in our blanket. :)
I don't have a blog anymore so I don't have a place to write funny things our kids say and do, so I will just write a quick blurb here. The other day, it was time to go upstairs and Jessie asked me to carry her upstairs....she is notoriously lazy when it comes to climbing stairs. I told her, "Jessie, you're a big girl now. You can go upstairs by yourself." Her reply...."But I'm still small. And you're big. That's all that matters." :D hahahaha. How could I resist that. So I picked her up and brought her upstairs...with a smile on my face. :)
We asked her what she likes better...ballet or tap. Surprisingly she said tap. When we asked her why she liked tap better, her only reason was, "because the shoes are slippery." Gotta love the way kids think. :D haha Well, despite what she says, I think she enjoys ballet more.
Jessie's first Mickey Mouse Ears hat.
She loves the hat which is amazing because she normally will not wear a hat for more than a minute or two. But she wore this one around Disneyland for quite a while. She even wears it around the house here and there. The power of Disney! :)
Now that we have Disneyland season passes, we will be going back in a few weeks. We'll pick up one for Sydney at that time.

Thanks to everybody for all their concern over the last week. It's been really hard and it's certainly not over yet, but all the stories, thoughts and help offered have really helped us to cope. Thanks so much to all of you.

Jessie and two of her ballet classmates.
On Saturday, Jessie's ballet teacher approached me and said she would like to move Jessie up to the next level. I was surprised. I was all, "Uhhh...really? Has she gotten that good???" Only problem with this is that there are no classes for the next level on weekends. And since both Jane and I work during the week, Jessie will have to stay put for a while. Oh well.

I really enjoy capturing these ballet pics of Jessie. I thought about shooting some video, but to be honest...she looks 100 times more graceful in pictures than she would in video. :D haha
Already the 2nd birthday of Jessie. Dressed in Bumba custome and eating a bumba themed cake she was in heavon ... bumba not so much :D as he was the tastiest being crafted from marzipan in the correct colors and details.

Today was gorgeous out and I happened to have a shoot planned so we headed downtown to find a place to shoot. The intention was to focus on handbags but we forgot them so we ended up just shooting Jessie by herself.

I dusted off my camera this weekend and headed out with our new puppy. We decided to have a drive to the Peak District to see the heather before it lost all its colour.
Jessie is just over 4 months old now, she is growing so fast! Hopefully she will bring me the motivation to get out with the camera more.
