Built in 1908 this abandoned schoolhouse has a very sad story....in 1990 Dennis Depue shot his wife in the back of the head and dumped the bloody blanket behind the school and dumped her body in a field behind the church, he thought he was never seen but a couple out driving around spotted him and watched what he was doing, the movie Jeepers Creepers has a scene where it almost duplicates what transpired.
After Dennis had killed his wife he fled the state, the murder made it on the show “ Unsolved Mysteries “ in 1991, when he learned that he was on the show and the cops where closing in on him he tried to flee and had a shoot out with the cops, Dennis Depue died by self inflicted gun shot.
You can find a lot of this information on Google
I like that Jeep so much that I tried to make it in a 4-wide variant, because that would fit better into a pocket to take it outside.
As I am not used to building in this tiny scale, this thingy cost me hours. I even dumped the pictures of the first trial on the road, because even if it looked good in real legoes, it didn't look right on a photograph.

It is a full-size body-on-frame vehicle that shared its architecture with the Gladiator pickup truck. The vehicle was introduced as a station wagon body style, later the pioneering design became known as a "sport utility vehicle"
Available initially with rear-wheel drive, the four-wheel drive SJ-body Wagoneer remained in production for 29 model years (1963–1991) with an almost unchanged body structure.

Inspired by the one and only Phima', the reason I ever started posting on here in the first place. I doubt you'll ever see this but if you do, cheers.
As for the build itself, I've been meaning to build myself an updated Jeep for quite some time now, and by quite some time I mean just a wee bit under 4 years, haha. Now that I've finally gone and built one, I'm pretty darn happy with it. The front bar isn't perfect so I'll probably try a minor redesign in the next few days, as well as taking some pictures of it without the canvas top. I've come up with a neat little Browning design as well that I'd like to implement.
As always, c&c is welcome.
PS check out my YouTube Channel if you're into that kind o' stuff. Channel name Carpet Lego, you can find links in the picture I posted earlier.
Thanks!
Super inspired by the Bullpup MEV, she functions exactly the same, except there's a CROW MK19, so it's clearly better >:]
Jk in all seriousness, I went with an unusual concept and armed a medical extraction vehicle. Knowing first hand that everyone gets shot at, even the medics, I figured something to provide some more cover while UIC soldiers deal with any situation, either medvac gone south or small engagement they have effective ways of countering that.
In other news, your boi is being promoted to E5 aka Sargent and transferred to an aviation battalion here in the KY National Guard. The hype sure is real :3

We usually try to do a Jeep lineup on our runs. Mine is the 5th from the left.

I find it tragic that the Gladiator name would eventually be replaced with "Jeep Pickup".
My dad has a fun story about driving one of these on a corrugated dirt road while in the army; the air-filter got shaken loose and around far enough that the breather tube hooked the throttle open on full. At a moment where he "really didn't want the throttle open on full."
This is my 30th offroader in this series. I might take a break from offroaders to do a few other things. Or I might not. I still have some left on my list to do. We'll see.
