Generated programmatically with Javascript. Brownian motion is a way of describing particle movement in liquids, gases, or even in white noise. It can also be thought of as the 10,000 ft view of a drunk walk home.

Essentially when a particle, like a dust speck is floating around on the surface of a still glass of water it is Brownian motion. The motion occurs because the water molecules are constantly in motion and colliding with the speck, thus transfering momentum to it causing it to (seemingly) erratically float around.
