A group of bottles and jars reflected on the side of the orb. So I am getting the photo from the side of the orb this is why it has the fisheye effect on the bottles, also some of the grit that settled on the orb walls showed up and he scratch on the orb over the red bottle.

A zádorfalvi DUD-972 fordája tartalmazza a Berente, Bányagépjavító - Varbó járatot, mely a Pitypalatty-völgy egy alsóbbrendű útján közlekedik. Sajókápolna és Sajólászlófalva között ezen az úton naponta egy járat közlekedik, reggel pedig az ellenkező irányba halad.
This is a miniature, of course. The whole thing is only about ¾" high. Behind it is a full-sized glass one which, I hasten to add, is empty and always has been. I bought it in the local garden centre to use as a prop. :)

Flower petals in the Jar
delightfully scent the air
Bringing a smile to
where we are
Yet, in the glass,
I do stare
as it smiles back
a bit bizarre
Trapped in the glass
of the flower jar
is a face that smiles
I swear.

Ook dit jaar waren de Traxx'en van Lineas weer onderweg met de Tomorrowland Party Expressen. Bij Zevenbergen is de 186 181 met een lange, lege trein onderweg van Amsterdam naar Schaarbeek; de festivalgangers zijn na een weekend feesten weer thuis. Slechts enkele momenten later reed de tegentrein naar Amsterdam het beeld in.

The Roskilde Jars.
Roskilde's three giant jars by the artist Peter Brandes are 5 metres high and weigh about 24 tons altogether.
They were given to Roskilde by the company Stryhn's Leverpostej A/S to commemorate Roskilde's 1000-years anniversary in 1998.
According to the artist they symbolise life and death, as jars are used for storage of food and as urns.
The name of all employees of the company and of those taking part in the production are inscribed on the jars. The first jar - seen from the station - has been adorned with a poem by Henrik Nordbrandt about Roskilde and Queen Margrethe I.

I now have about 200 lb of honey settling in honey buckets
...but I couldnt resist jarring a first batch for Summer 2026. We have a family gathering at the weekend so good to have a jar each with us for everyone!
These 1lb jars make great presents as they feel so substantial and have a traditional look to them.
