A group of bottles and jars reflected on the side of the orb. So I am getting the photo from the side of the orb this is why it has the fisheye effect on the bottles, also some of the grit that settled on the orb walls showed up and he scratch on the orb over the red bottle.

Previously the jar contained my homemade jam. The label is homemade, too. It is my photo of the view from our house at Rocky Butte. Mt Hood is obscured by the coin.

De laatste inzetten van de BB 67400 in de reizigersdienst zijn al jaren rond Strasbourg te vinden. Ook dit jaar rijden er nog diverse loccen rond met spitstreinen in die regio. Zo maakt er iedere ochtend een loc met RRR stam een slagje naar Lauterbourg, vlak naast de grens met Duitsland. Op 9 mei was het de 67591 die vroeg in de ochtend als trein 30700 van Strasbourg naar Lauterbourg onderweg was en hier bij Sessenheim passeert.
Strasbourg still uses a few BB 67400 locos with peak hour trains. One of those trains is TER 30700 from Strasbourg to Lauterbourg. On the morning of May 9th, SNCF 67591 could be seen there with a set of RRR coaches.

The infamous Jar trail is a very steep, strenuous trail which is located at the mouth of Kern Canyon and is used by workout freaks and local mountaineers as a training hike. The hike is about six miles, maybe a bit more, with a possible elevation gain of around 3,000 feet in three miles depending if we go up to one of the several nearby peaks in the are.The views from the upper ridges of Kern Canyon and the Kern River below are some of the best in the area.
This is a miniature, of course. The whole thing is only about ¾" high. Behind it is a full-sized glass one which, I hasten to add, is empty and always has been. I bought it in the local garden centre to use as a prop. :)
Al jaren rijdt Europorte een trafiek tussen Lérouville - Faisceau (F) en Prayon Rupel. De trein rijdt met erg wisselende tijden, en gaat ook niet altijd via station Boom maar soms ook rechtstreeks vanaf Puurs de stamlijn naar Prayon op. Op de heldere vroege ochtend van 23 Juni 2020 is de Europorte 4014 net binnen gekomen met trein 49819 in het station van Boom (B), en zal na kopmaken verder gaan als trein 60280 naar Prayon Rupel.

De afgelopen twee jaar reed de VSM de “Christmas Express” tussen Arnhem en Nijmegen/Ede, ook deze winter zal de trein weer rijden. Vorig jaar reed de stoomtrein in het weekend van 16 en 17 december, waarbij het ‘s zondags zowaar ook nog zonnig was. Om 15:25 kwamen de 23 076 en 23 071 met een bonte set rijtuigen langs het bekende zandpad in Elst, met veel bekijks vanaf het pad en de brug. De schapen rechts van het spoor kijken er niet van op, die hebben de stalen monsters al een paar keer voorbij zien rijden vandaag.
