Treetop Adventure Golf at the Bullring.

Seen from the ramp around Spiceal Street.

Was also another entrance inside of the West Mall. But didn't get a photo of that.

I switched to automatic Scene Recognition and they came out better.

Evening shots of hte Spiral Cafe.

This is the Spiral Cafe at the Bullring.

There are plans to remove it, to make way for a restaurant quarter.

Bullring's Spiral Cafe to be removed as part of redevelopment

It was created by Marks Barfield Architects in 2005 to bring life to the newly created public space.

The building form is inspired by the mathematician Leonardo Fibonacci who identified natural patterns of growth found throughout the universe, from the shapes of shells and pines cones to fractal patterns within galaxies.

On this side of the Bullring is now Forever 21 and Jamie's Italian.

The cafe is currently a Gloria Jean's Coffees.

Spring 2011 - The Spiceal Street redevelopment has begun for a target completion in time for Christmas 2011. So they have dismantled the Sprial Cafe. Hope they don't chuck the pieces away. The Three Cubes Fountain has also been pulled down (possibly destroyed).

Second day in Cardiff - so I took the teen girls to Jamie's Italian which they loved. We went early so the place was fairly empty and we got seats upstairs - I love to look down from there!

SELECTION OF TOP ITALIAN BREADS - From Jamie's bakery - sourdough, ciabatta, tortano, Pugliese grissini sticks, "snappy" music bread with rosemary and lemon gremolata served with our homemade focaccia with extra virgin olive oil and the finest aged balsamic at Jamie's Italian in Leeds

Jamie Oliver's new Italian restaurant is about to open in Nottingham [on Monday]; we had a quick tour around the place on Saturday. It's in an elegant three storey Georgian building on Middle Pavement, next to Paul Smith and formerly Jass Interiors.
