Carmel Market (Hebrew: שוק הכרמל, Shuk HaCarmel) is a marketplace in Tel Aviv,Israel.[1]
The market is bordered by Allenby Street andMagen David Square and the market is principally located along Carmel Street (which becomes King George Street after Magen David Square), but has expanded over time to streets such as Nahalat Binyamin Street.
The market is open every day of the week, except Shabbat (Saturday), and sells mostly food but also a variety of items such as home accessories, and flowers. Tuesdays and Fridays are the signature days at the market as several independent artists and vendors sell unique crafts, art, and jewellery along Nahalat Binyamin Street.

Wow! 3000+ views and featured on Explore! Thanks to everyone for the comments! I'll post some variations from this shoot in a few days. Please check back again soon!
---
What crazy-making times these are!
I'm back at school now, and finally shooting (and sharing) again. I don't understand why I had anticipated more free time for personal projects this year while in school compared to last year. Spare time has become even more scarce. My various To Do lists are starting to look more like a catalog of ideas and things I wanted to do rather than goals and tasks actually accomplished. But at the end of the day, this time-squeeze is familiar and reminiscent of the same crazy-making I had originally survived last year.
This image represents a number of firsts for me. Firsts which I eagerly jump on to move forward to the seconds.
I shot this at school using a single Speedotron 105 head and a PhaseOne P25 digital back on an old Hasselblad 500C body with a 150mm lens and a macro extension tube attachment. The 105 head enables the type of action-stopping seen above. The hammer was rigged to a wire-contact trigger which fired the strobe at the perfect timing. The Speedo head was shot through a large softbox placed directly over the table to add those nice gradations on the hammer's handle.
I have a few other favs to post over the coming few days. I'm hopeful to catch up and breathe some life back into this poor, neglected Flickr stream. Thank you for checking in!

I don't know it they really are - but they do look the part. CDV from late 1890s(?) of a young man and two women in matching (though not identical) dresses, from Stockholm.

Description:An unidentified young man sitting in a homemade, 2-cylinder automobile.
The name "Havoline" appears twice on the car, referring to a company that still produces automotive maintenance products. Photograph by Harry Evan Kinley (1882-1969), a native of Upper Sandusky. Kinley was active in local events and organizations, and spent his professional career as a clerk at his father's department store, and later as a travelling salesman for the Marion Paper & Supply Company (1934-1962). He was also an avid lifelong photographer, and the bulk of the Harry Kinley Collection is comprised of glass plate negatives documenting the Kinley family, the city of Upper Sandusky and Wyandot County and surrounding areas.

I've been working on this one mentally for a long time. My friend Jason was kind enough to help me out by sending me a picture of him and his TV. (Make sure you go look at his inspiring and creative photostream).
Thanks for the collaboration, Jason!
Day 256.
Just some Cosmic Marvel figs I've been working on. I felt it was about time I posted them, since they've been lying round for quite a while now :P
From L to R:
Silver Surfer - Well, he's not silver, but I'm happy with him. I think I was inspired by someone else who has posted this design, so if that's you just say so in the comments.
Gladiator - Based off his original design. Pretty happy with him, though I'm disappointed the head isn't a bit more purple. Also, expect an Annihilators group shot in the near-ish future.
J'son of Spartax - Based off his appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Avengers, with my own little tweaks.
Korath the Pursuer - An amalgamation of his comic and movie appearances. Really happy with him.
Quasar (Wendell Vaughn) - Found that torso and though it would look fairly decent on him, and IMO it works. He is slightly based off his original appearance, with a few tweaks from me.
Major Victory - Fairly pleased with him. His body is based off his modern design, and his head from his original look (mainly because I can't find a dark blue head :P)
Yondu - Really pleased with him. Obviously the dorsal fin on his head is comic based, and the rest is based off his Yondu Dixon appearance :P. Also added a crossbow instead of the regular bow he's seen with in the comics.
The Collector - Completely based off his GotG appearance. Also, I made this before the SDCC fig was shown, so when he was announced I wasn't too angry. Well, not too much anyway :P. Also equipped with the Aether.
Enjoy :)
