Jesse Jackson is a civil rights legend in America and it was an honor to hear him speak. Considering he's 80 years old and both him and his wife recently just recovered from Covid, I know it could not have been easy to join these protests in Chicago and in Kenosha.

Conservation : COMMON BIRD IN STEEP DECLINE
"The haunting songs of the Varied Thrush echo through the dense humid forests of the Pacific Northwest. Long minor-key whistles repeated after deliberate pauses, they seem like sounds without a source; only a careful searcher will find the bird itself. Although it looks superficially like a robin, the Varied Thrush is far more elusive, usually feeding on the ground among dense thickets. Typical of the far west, it sometimes surprises birders by straying all the way to the Atlantic Coast in winter." - Audubon Society

There's nothing like watching those few moments when the sun kisses those peaks......
It was a cool brisk morning and the winds had just subsided.
As daylight came, the blue hour treated us to such colorful pastels in the skies above the Grand Tetons. The cloud formation above was somewhat surreal.
Probably surrounded by 30 other photographers on that chilly morning .... but it was certainly a rewarding & fun outing.
Thanks for taking a look
Your feedback is always so much appreciated......
Happy Friday & have a great weekend.

I've always thought the US Currency needed some colour, so I gave Mr. Jackson some. I painted this in Photoshop Elements 2022. Thanks to You All For The Wonderful Comments and Encouragement!
The 'Jackson' cruise ship passing by the Sydney Opera House.
On the eastern, less fashionable, side of the house.
(i.e. not the bridge side, lol)
In the distance, across the harbour, is Kirribilli.
One of my favourite cafe destinations.
Photographed during the late afternoon on one of my many walking treks around Sydney harbour.
My Canon EOS 5D Mk IV with the Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L lens.
Processed in Adobe Lightroom and PhotoPad Pro by NCH software.
Wikipedia
When your walking on a trail and you turn around because something is coming up behind you quick and you see Jackson it can be quite unnerving!
If you look extreme right the hint of red is his owner that's how I found out his name. Apparently Jackson is unable to read and had no-one to assist him. Otherwise he would have known that a leash is required when visiting the Edward H. McCabe Nature Preserve.

From our room in the Four Season's we were treated each morning to this view of the sunrise over Jackson Hole Wyoming. I could get accustomed to this.

The place was crawling with people including one guy who wanted to get behind the falls and just sit in there. I think he waited until I got done with this one.
Iconic view of St Louis Cathedral and Jackson Square (with a statue of Andrew Jackson, who was the seventh president of the United States) in the foreground.
A late comment: did anyone notice that there's not a thousand tourists in this picture? But it was at the height of Mardi Gras. I caught it at a good moment.
The Teton Range, partially obseured by smoke from the Berry Fire, rises beyond the Jackson Hole valley.
