Another picture taken up Mill Creek Canyon. I love going up in the mountains and finding these small streams, working their way down, connecting and growing to become rivers. While I was taking this picture, my brother was off taking pictures nearby. Looking forward to seeing what he got.
Sunrises, Sunsets, ocean views and Yosemite images are amongst my favorites but mountain roads that take me home.......make me SING! Sierra foothills of California
Me and the crew of the' Volvo Discovery.'.. when we're not huntin' for the Pirate Blackbeards treasure on islands unknown... we like to chase rainbows and capture leprechauns lookin' for their fabled pots o' gold.
We brought the good ship Volvo to a stop when we saw this double arch of color form right in front of us.
A complete double rainbow is a very rare form of spectra to see!
I took this picture while the girls ran towards the ends of the rainbows ready to put a leperchaun into a half nelson until he'd give up the gold.
Double rainbow... WHAT DOES IT MEAN? People say that I got a little 'too excited' when I made this video... but then how many people ever see a full double rainbow?

Rainbows are always cliche!
I've been a bit slack in keeping track of these things, so a little bit of catching up today on how some of my photos are making their way in the world, and more importantly here, a chance to promote a very worthy cause.
I was asked if i would contribute a photo to the "It's a Beautiful World" project run by the inspirational Sophie Addison. The book will raise funds going towards research for a cure for MS, and directly helping individuals and families touched by MS.
I agreed, and the book is now available via

La Basílica es la catedral de Budapest y tal como su nombre indica, en 1931 le fue otorgado el título de "basílica menor" por el papa Pío XI.

t. Stephen's Basilica (Hungarian: Szent István-bazilika, Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈsɛnt ˈiʃtvaːn ˈbɒzilikɒ]) is a Roman Catholic basilica in Budapest, Hungary. It is named in honour of Stephen, the first King of Hungary (c 975–1038), whose supposed right hand is housed in the reliquary. It was the sixth largest church building in Hungary before 1920. Since the renaming of the primatial see, it's the co-cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Esztergom-Budapest. Today, it is the third largest church building in present-day Hungary.
