As some of you know I was recently diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy. So on Monday I had the joy of getting an MRI to try and figure out WTH was causing it. Well I finally got the call from my Doctor and he informed me that I have a small mass roughly the size of that BB in my spine up in my neck. He figures it is pressing against my spinal cord and that is what is causing the issue.
It's kinda funny..more often then not, when I go to the Doctor about something, they always come back with...never seen anything like that before! LOL He is not sure what it is, so now I get to go see a neurosurgeon and figure out WTF we are gonna do next.
I wanted to thank all of you that have sent me good thoughts and prayers in your comments, and emails. It means a lot to me.
This isn't a big deal, I am not worried. We will get it taken care of and then I can get back to taking photos with my shirt off. HA!!
Random Fact: That was MRI number 6 for me. Seems like a lot for one person, doesn't it? The best part is I am very claustrophobic and I hate those damn things. This time they gave me some happy pills before I went in and it was a piece of cake! I guess I was a bit too relaxed and fell asleep a few times so they had to do a few scans twice...ooops.
