Despite the tale of misery i had a damn good laugh in here playing chess, cards and the like. Being in Balata you need a good place to return to and this was it. Even saving the water (every drop is precious in the camp) became an enjoyable task. Water used for personal washing and the dishes was saved and used in the toliet cistern (Motto: if its yellow, let it mellow. If it's brown flush it down!). showers were a once every 4 day luxury. Thank god it wasn't hot when i was there!
It's the cleanest ISM apartment ive been in and has the best kitchen as well. we cooked and ate together every night and this really helped to bond the group together
