Magical Second Life

"Aruba, Jamaica, oh I want to take you to

Bermuda, Bahama, come on pretty mama

Key Largo, Montego, baby why don't we go

Oh I want to take you down to

Kokomo, we'll get there fast and then we'll take it slow

That's where we want to go, way down in Kokomo" - BeachBoys

Long exposure over the rocky coast line as the waves come crashing in

Looking back on times when we could travel.

Beneath a vast Nordic sky, the rugged granite shores of Styrsö melt into the shimmering blue of Sweden's coastline. Crimson rooftops peek through emerald trees, their colors echoing the warmth of a summer village waking to the gentle hush of the archipelago. From the heights of Stora Rös, every glen reveals a tapestry of sea, stone, and serenity—a timeless Swedish landscape where land and water embrace in perfect harmony.

I truly appreciate every view, favorite, and thoughtful comment you share. Your support inspires me to continue exploring and capturing moments like this. Thank you for being an important part of my photography journey.

Golden hour magic on Tebajima Island , the sun dips behind the hills painting the harbor in warm picks , orange and gold while the fishing boats rest quietly on the rippling water , a peaceful end to the day in this charming , car free corner of Shikoku Tebajima .

Long exposure at high tide as the sea was calming down after a storm

Punta Šilo, lighthouse for a safe harbour

At dusk, when the light fades into calm, the small lighthouse of Punta Šilo keeps silent watch over the sea — over stories of sailors, winds, and forgotten voyages.

Stone and salt, light and shadow — they meet here, on this quiet edge of the island.

Graffiti whisper of pirates and storms, yet the Adriatic breathes peace.

This lighthouse is more than a beacon for ships — it’s a symbol of homecoming, a guide for every soul seeking calm waters.

My gallery needed a bit of colour so while I was in a Thailand kinda mood thought I'd offer this sunset on the Andaman Sea after kayaking the ocean caves. It was such a peaceful time of day, especially after climbing back into your kayak and heading into a dark cave with your Krathong where the candles are lit, and the offering set afloat. It was a very zen moment. Have a fantastic week everyone !

Svitanja i zalasci u sigurnoj luci

Sunrises and sunsets in a safe harbor

If every sailor or pirate has a safe harbor, then mine would be Šilo, on the island of Krk. A harbor that shelters from the bora winds and the southern gales, from all storms of life. A harbor where people greet you with warmth, and where every stone remembers the steps of fishermen and seafarers.

This green lantern is more than light – it is a symbol of recognition, of home, of a quiet refuge where I once lived part of my life.

Šilo gave me serene mornings and sunsets that warmed my soul. This photograph is a small tribute to a place that was more than a harbor – it was home.
