RARELY, rarely, comest thou,
Spirit of Delight!
Wherefore hast thou left me now
Many a day and night?
Many a weary night and day
'Tis since thou art fled away.
How shall ever one like me
Win thee back again?
With the joyous and the free
Thou wilt scoff at pain.
Spirit false! thou hast forgot
All but those who need thee not.
As a lizard with the shade

Let me set my mournful ditty

MIRACULOUS INVOCATION TO
ST. THERESE
O Glorious St. Therese, whom Almightly God has raised up to aid and inspire the human family, I implore your Miraculous Intercession. You are so powerful in obtaining every need of body and spirit from the Heart of God, Holy Mother church proclaims you "PRODIGY OF MIRACLES", THE GREATEST SAINT OF MODERN TIMES." Now I fervently beseech you to answer my petition (mention here) and to carry out your promises of spending Heaven doing good upon earth . . . . of letting fall from Heaven a Shower of Roses. Little Flower, give me your childlike faith, to see the Face of God in the people and experiences of my life, and to love God with full confidence. St. Therese, my Carmelite Sister, I will fulfill your plea "to be made known eveywhere" and I will continue to lead others to Jesus through you. AMEN

Dale Chihuly has led the Avant-garde movement in the development of glass as a fine art. His installation at the Denver Botanic Gardens in 2014 was a wonder to behold. After blending a couple of the photos I had taken at the event the initial result was a mix of mystical fairy garden and a playful version of the psychedelic rock band concert posters from the sixties. Clearly magic or hallucinogenics were involved and since I don't alter my mind unnecessarily it had to be magic. If magic were involved in creating this garden, I wondered where the source of the magic might lie, in this world or another. What would be beyond the garden's wall in the image. I then realized that the vista from Wolf Creek Pass was an equally powerful vision I had recently captured on a trip to Pagosa Springs and not only did the two images belong together, but I wondered which of the two worlds might have been conjured by a wizard. Which is more magical?
This photo is about the Mahuli fort taken at time of sunset. With dark monsoon clouds gathering aroung the pinacles at the time of sunset, only a small part between the pinnacles was left uncovered. Khidki khuli hain is often told in the north.
Sun playing hide and seek, but the clouds could not cover it completely. And with the small khidki through which the sun was peeping, it was caught! Caught in my camera.
