Our Youngest grandson got some sunflower seeds out of the our Wild birds seed and planted them in our Flower pots round our Caravan he watered it every time he come out to our caravan and this is one of the flowers and after it went to seed i got him to pull all the seeds out and put them back into our Wild birds seeds bag

This image is dedicated for the Group I administer called... Land Ahoy (Nautical Views of Land) ... this is for invite comment purposes only.

Please be advised that comments made are done so with respect with said image and by no means will this image ever not be displayed once used for comments left.

I stood by a fence to take this shot, using one of the posts as my tripod. It was a very remote area so there was little traffic, only 3 vehicles in the time it took to compose and capture the image.

When it comes to working on a scene, I prefer it when there are few distractions. It is not always obvious what initially drew my attention, but working a subject eventually reveals what was there all along.

In this case the rolling hills and that terrific red in the barn. The foreground bushes frame the structure and the space between them invites the eyes to move in closer.

Invitation to Spend

Last July I was invited to an air show, it was fantastic and I really enjoyed photographing the aircraft.

This is the AeroSuperBatic wing walking team. They have performed around the world and are the Guinness World Record holders, They were amazing to watch. Unfortunately one of the planes suffered technical problems and crashed into the sea at the Bournmouth Air Festival two months later. Miraculously the pilot and lady wing walker escaped serious injury and thanks to the pilots expertise the plane just missed hitting the harbour and boats. The Air Accidents Branch say it could be up to a year before they share its findings.

... one of St. Thomas’ most famous landmarks. The staircase, made of ballast bricks brought to the islands from Danish ships, was constructed to connect parts of the town. On your way up the stairs, you’ll find more than a dozen stunning local flora that will definitely take your mind off the climb. And the view from the top is incredible!
