Old Dutch scenes, British Dickens period, even American- and German themes and more in a multitude of houses, figurines, trains, sparkling lights and a colorful collection of sounds do the remaining rest. The shops use huge displays attracting lots of customers. A nice activity for some weeks to create your own street or village entirely in Christmas and winter atmosphere, often decorated with lots of snow.

Fake plants and flowers in the garden centre. Isn't that sacrilegious? Nah, as long as it sells and looking at how large the variety is, it sells like hell!
