Ce Salon servait d'écrin à la collection de vitraux et d'oeuvres d'art médiéval de Marble House, un manoir situé au 596, avenue Bellevue, à Newport, Rhode Island, États-Unis.

Construite entre 1888 et 1892 par Richard Morris Hunt pour le multi-millionnaire américain William Kissam Vanderbilt (1849-1920), roi des chemins de fer, et sa première épouse Alva Erskine Smith (1853-1933), Marble House évoque à la fois le Petit Trianon de Versailles et le Parthénon d'Athènes. Ses 500 000 pieds cubes de marbre lui ont d’ailleurs valu son nom. Considérée comme une maison d'été, ou "chalet", comme les appelaient les Newporters, en souvenir des modestes maisons du début du 19ème siècle, Marble House est beaucoup plus que ça.

Derrière une lourde porte se cache un intérieur grandiose : tapisseries des Gobelins dans le hall, salle de bal richement décorée, salle gothique parée de vitraux, salle à manger somptueuse avec son marbre rose d'Algérie... Ce fut un point de repère social et architectural qui donna le ton à la transformation ultérieure de Newport, qui était passée d’une colonie estivale tranquille de maisons en bois à la station balnéaire légendaire des somptueux palais de pierre.

A vibrant rural landscape where every corner hides a sprinkle of whimsy, from rolling hills kissed by the sun to charming little houses that just beckon you to come and stay a while and enjoy the fluffy sheep, curious cows, and a cheeky bird! This colorful adventure was sparked by a longing to capture the tranquil beauty of rural life in a playful, cartoon-like style that warms the heart.

Interior do Forte da Graça, em Elvas, destacando-se a cúpula central de traços geométricos e tons dourados. Nas paredes, encontram-se símbolos náuticos e militares, acompanhados de inscrições que evocam o espírito de honra e sacrifício. Este espaço reflete a grandiosidade e o propósito estratégico deste forte, uma obra-prima da engenharia militar do século XVIII e Património Mundial da UNESCO.

In the future a new earth-like planet - named Ademis - is discovered. A group of people with different skills is sent to Ademis to live there and examine the pre-conditions for a larger colony to be established.

This is an example module showing the what the habitats look like. My aim is to build further example modules to visualize the various functions of the colony.
