A Steel frame surrounds the stacked slate tiles> precut from 18" square tiles to the same width as the steel bars (4" wide)> that were individually "set" with a cementiscious compound, using spacers between each slab of slate to add shadow and detail.
The mirror frame is made of the same steel/same finish and has a beveled mirror.
I later created/added a set of andirons, as well as a curved, simple Fireplace Screen- that I need to go back and reshoot (with, a Roaring Fire)!

Our interior design solution for Petrofac Plant Asset Management in Southampton. Photography by Solent Studios.
Over the course of 5 weeks we tore our bathroom down to the studs and had it completely redone. We moved the shower, turned the old shower into a closet, moved the toilet drain so we could get a bigger shower, moved the old tub drain for the new shower, ran plumbing to the other side of the bathroom for the shower head, modified the plumbing to go from one to two vanity sinks, installed can lights for the shower, and of course put in all new fixtures.
