Videos are continuously arranged in a real-time to form a mosaic representation of the background as well. The main purpose of the MediaME is to show bidirectional relationship between people and the media. The camera captures image of the person standing in front of the blue screen and tile the video image with small individual video clips selected from a video database to match the specific area of the target video. Captured images are being displayed as video mosaic which contains large number of individual video clips. An electronic projector will project video mosaic onto the large screen right before the person. This project is installed in the iSpace at Singapore Science center to allow visitors to obtain a novel experience in entrainment and social communication.
