The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) sponsor the National Civil Rights Conference, “21st Century Civil Rights: Integrity. Integration. Innovation. Initiative” at the U.S. Institute of Peace in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015. This interactive training event will feature voices of experience, research, discussions, and thought-provoking dialogue. Workshop, Panel and Town Hall sessions will feature representatives from federal and local governments, tribes, community groups, business and industry, public interest groups, academia, and other entities. The integrative forum will provide conference participants an opportunity to network with colleagues representing a variety of interests who are from diverse organizations. Conference participants will accrue informative and productive resources that can support their individual program goals and objectives. We wish every conference participant a productive and positive experience through innovation and collaboration.

Namibia is an incredible country for landscapes. After spending time in the Dunes exploring on foot, a flight was irresistible. From the air the enormous dunes become a scape of light and shade, form and texture.
Much of the desert is pure wilderness, rare indeed. The action of wind on sand creates a sensuous kind of geometry on the grand scale and on closer viewing the ripples create a beautiful and complex texture.
A lot of my photography of these remote places tries to capture the pristine beauty and convey the silence that accompanies it.

On a building, above the doorway, it used to be a bank, now it's a vacant sub shop that went out of business.
This is one of the previous versions of the City of Toronto Coat of Arms.
The building used to be a Toronto Dominion Bank. That would explain why this is on a building in London, Ontario.

This is the St. Andrew's Church (聖安德烈堂). I took this photo three years ago when I first visited this unique place in Hong Kong. It was a sunny day as I stepped into this peaceful church.
Tomorrow, there will be a service to pay respect to Mr. Szeto Wah here. He is an iconic figure in Hong Kong, not only because he was a dedicated educator, but also because he was a leader in the fight for democracy. He orchestrated the rescue of many students out of China after the brutal government crackdown in Beijing in 1989. Mr Szeto remained a voice of reason. Despite under great pressure, he campaigned for a reversal of China’s verdict on the Tiananmen event and for full democracy in Hong Kong.

Up until today, I had poor Gleb (a.k.a. Integrity Supermodel Convention 2016 Style Lab Declan Wake) dressed in a pair of Mattel Ken board shorts and a white beanie cap. I have been terrible about searching and obtaining Fashion Royalty clothes for the Fashion Royalty Homme dolls that I have in my collection. However, after the Integrity Fashion Fairytale 2017 Convention a little over a week ago, some fascinating clothing ensembles were released as part of their Wonderland-themed release. From eBay, I got the hat from the "Not All There" ensemble (Cheshire Cat), the pants from the "Completely Mad" ensemble (Mad Hatter), and the pants & vest from the "Dim the Lights" ensemble. I dressed him in all but the "Dim the Lights" pants (since he cannot wear two pairs of pants at the same time). He is such a sexy beast. =) This of course stirs the itch to buy more Fashion Royalty Homme clothes.
