On the left is Instax mini instant image of the lumen box of 3 bottles. On the right is what I got out of a 7.5 hour exposure. As you see I have some dust issues to attend to. Scanning instant film is a magnet for dust.
Lumen Box, small pinhole that I will be testing some more. Photographic paper goes inside. Once exposed, scan, invert and there you have it :)
Polaroid Week Day # 3
(I got home from work with just enough time to head down to the river for a couple of shots before the light faded.)
Had to dig out the cassette deck and a handful of old tapes for this shot. The ghostly red glow was provided by a gel sheet taped over my reading lamp.
While I'm sometimes nostalgic about old media, I don't miss driving around with zippered cases on the floor of my car.

Polaroid Week: Day 6 - 1
One of the things I like the most is patterns and it started with an old homemade kaleidoscope my dad showed to me when I was a kid: it was made by my grandfather. I was stunned by the patterns and colours I saw through it, I was obsessed for a while till I forgot about it years later. So one day those memories came back to my mind when I was thinking about a new idea for a photo and I had to build my own homemade kaleidoscope using the mirrors of old blush powder compacts...this is one of the results...
