I was digging through the boxes today, and found a few cameras I had picked up at thrift stores. I got this one because with a name like the Kodak "Pleaser" you just know this thing was marketed to the raunchy demographic (but aren't all instant cameras, really?). So, if I'm the one with the camera, then you're the one that has to get naked. It's called teamwork, people. Work with me here.
I think I have another one around here somewhere, and one day when I find it, I'll post it, too.
This camera was given to me by my grandmother. Works like a charm!

So I head down to the Ballard Commons to get some Polaroid street photography in - and the whole park is taken over by a christian youth group. A army of Red Shirts, as far as the eye can see, free hotdogs and some :Life is Awesome! God is Awesome!" musicians.
Eh, so you play the hand that's dealt you. . .
Taken with my Kodak Handle, probably around 1978. Whoever created the late movie concept sure came up with a winner. I just found the picture today after having stored it away for all these years. I'd say that I only shot about 3 packs, or 30 images, at the most with this camera back then.
And thus begins Poloroid Week, kicking off with a photo I wanted to mess about with, but was not brave enough to - so here's the undoctored version!
Rare Kodak Kodamatic HS 144-10 film, expiration date "02/1984".
This film expired when I was in 7th grade in Chicago, and my car was still a young 11 years old, cruising San Diego. Now here we all are together, in 2010, in Clarkdale Arizona
Finally, a whole shot of my Polaroid Square Shooter. I had one identical to this back in the 1970's. I paid only .99 cents for this one on eBay.

Some more fooling around for my 365-project. My dad's old polaroid camera that he gave me almost 20 years ago and some old selfie snaps that I had saved in a drawer. Jesus... I can't be more than 22 years old in those pictures.

Impossible Film
Instant Camera walk
Flickrmeetup teamed up with Photobooth SF for a fun photo walk using impossible film and polaroid cameras. My 'pulling' technique needs a lot of work. I need more muscle it seems for a smooth photo. But I am happy for a 'first time'. Great experience and loved having a photo to hold almost immediately.
