Los humedales y turberas del Padul son un espacio natural catalogado como Reserva dentro de Parque Natural de Sierra Nevada, ya que se encuentra en las estribaciones suroeste del macizo montañoso del sur de Europa. Junto al casco urbano del municipio de Padul, a 25 kilómetros de la ciudad de Granada, rodeado de decenas de fincas de cultivo y atravesado por numerosos caminos, se encuentra una depresión húmeda que forma las lagunas y turberas del Padul, con una historia que se remonta al millones de años y que, en la actualidad, aún conserva su particular ecosistema, gracias a las inundaciones que sufre durante gran parte del año. El conjunto de lagunas y turberas ocupa una extensión de 327,398 hectáreas. Es la única zona húmeda de origen endorréico existente en la provincia de Granada y la mayor turbera de Europa meridional.

The Fusiliers' Arch is a monument which forms part of the Grafton Street entrance to St Stephen's Green park, in Dublin, Ireland. Erected in 1907, it was dedicated to the officers, non-commissioned officers and enlisted men of the Royal Dublin Fusiliers who fought and died in the Second Boer War (1899–1902).

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs. I am haunted by waters.

This so makes me want to do some night camping underneath the starry skies. Friends, fun, stories, tacos and beer. I illuminated the vintage camper and rusty Ford vehicle with warm white light from a handheld ProtoMachines LED2 light during the long exposure. Light painting to illuminate subjects is a beautiful, addictive art, as you can walk around the scene, deciding what to bring to light and what to keep in shadow. Photographed before a night photography workshop that we taught in the Nevada desert.
