Insta360 photos on Flickr

Photo taken on my Insta360 1-inch sensor action camera, on the way down from Bowfell in the Lake District, on a ridge known as The Band. The tops of Crinkle Crags remain hidden by the "clag".

Despite the constant cloud and rain it was a fantastic walk, during which I never managed to get my main camera or either lens out of my rucksack.

One day I hope to have time to put together a highlight reel of the video taken with this camera.

360 degrees of Padley Gorge by Waving lights in the dark

I took a trip to Padley Gorge in Derbyshire and took along my Insta360 x5 camera.

It turns out Padley is quite a good location to shoot with the Insta360 X5 with its 360° perspective. The gnarly trees were almost made for this camera.

I've always strived for unconventional images if possible and this wild, distorted perspective is about as far as I can get from a conventional landscape photograph.

There's a certain woodland in the Peak District where wild ramsons aka wild garlic grow in abundance. I wasn't sure if the ramsons would be flowering yet but I took a chance and my Insta360x5 camera.

On a recent road trip in to Norfolk, I saw in the distance a huge swathe of red in a field. There was no mistaking what the red was; there was literally millions of poppies in a large 4 or 5 acre field. It would have been rude not to drop by and shoot them before they disappeared.

As stressful and challenging as the COVID-19 pandemic is, I am grateful that the store shelves are stocked and that we can shop in safe and convenient way. I am also mindful of those that are struggling with food scarcity, financial difficulties, health problems, and so many other issues and realize that I must do my part and help where I am able. We are all in this together!

This is a 360 shot using an Insta360 OneR and an invisible selfie stick.

Today I bought myself an Insta360 x5 camera, something I've been itching to use and see what I can create. This is the first upload from this handy little camera.

It's also been an afternoon of frustration trying to figure out how to export a YouTube video to Facebook and actually display a thumbnail!! I know which buttons to press but they ain't working!!

So annoyance to one side, I made this image instead. I placed the camera on the selfie stick and mini tripod then hid behind a tree while the camera fired.

And i say fair play to him for walking around with a big selfie stick and recording in 360. Its a lovely spot for it!!

To be honest though i had just recorded a pano timelapse literally 10 minutes before using a DJI Osmo Mobile 3 so i am a bit tech biased.

I recently visited Lincoln Cathedral with an Insta360x5 camera and carrying a small selfie stick / tripod combination. I fully expected to get tackled for use of the tripod but no, I waltzed in, paid my entry fee and carried on shooting.

This is the Chapter House in the cathedral in extremely wide angle.
