The name INNERER SCHWEINEHUND describes - often as a reproach - the allegory of weakness of will, which prevents a person from performing unpleasant activities, which are either seen as ethical, or which seem reasonable for the person concerned.

a traditional inn on Bodmin Moor in Cornwall, United Kingdom. Built as a coaching inn in 1750, and having an association with smuggling, it was the setting for Daphne du Maurier's 1936 novel Jamaica Inn which was made into the film Jamaica Inn in 1939 by Alfred Hitchcock. We've had a bit of rain, again, and there were many puddles.

Today we had a very nice lunch at this pub, and it was very busy.

I took this image yesterday evening in Wasserburg am Inn.

Wasserburg am Inn is a small town in Oberbayern with an exceptionally well-preserved medieval old town, almost completely enclosed by a river loop of the Inn.

- a very idyllic old Bavarian city

This famous inn located in the center of Old Bennington, Vermont was built by Elijah Dewey and dates to 1771. Today it appears to be abandoned but I've heard that it's not or that it's haunted or that it was sold just a couple of years ago to new owners. It stands directly across the street from the cemetery where the famous poet Robert Frost is buried.

If anyone has any up-to-date information on this old inn please comment.

The Dickens Inn is an original warehouse building near Tower Bridge dating back to the 18th century. It is thought to have been built in the early 1700s as a tea factory or a local brewery.

Years later, it was converted into a tavern, with sawdust strewn floors and no bottled or canned beer would have been stocked. Diners also enjoyed candlelit meals on the balconies; this practice has been phased out due to modern fire safety regulations!

All 120 tonnes of The Dickens Inn was moved 70 meters east to make room for a new housing development.

The original timbers, tailboards, and ironwork were used in the restoration and the building was reconstructed in the style of a three-story balconied inn of the 18th century.

In May 1976, The Dickens Inn was opened by the grandson of Charles Dickens, Cedric Charles Dickens.

Chuck and Edie Janisse are the wonderfully friendly and knowedgeable innkeepers in this very cozy B & B near Killington and Woodstock, Vermont. While there are loads to do in the area, the Inn is a real attraction to cyclists. It's great for a relaxing and aesthetic get-away. The Inn itself is in excellent condition. This is the side of a barn on the property.

This is the old inn at Amannsalpe, where people used to rest on their way between Söllereck and Riezlern (or further). The inn was recorded in a book dating from 1740. You can see some old agriculture tools on the wall.

Now the old way that was used by the Walser for trade is a broad gravel road, a very popular walking trail offering nice views and several places to have a drink or a bite.

I'm afraid it was a bit too busy for me.
