What is an artist?
Because I think everyone is artistic.
Everyone can be creative in different ways, but not every human being is compelled to be an artist.
And an artist is something that's intangible, right?
It's a quality that just oozes off of someone.
It can't be contained.
It can't be boxed in.
It can't be predicted.
There's something about artists that is wild.
It's raw. Unfiltered. Genuine.
It doesn't wait until it's appropriate.
It's something that is magical because it is unexplainable.
And I think the true essence of being an artist is the inability to hide.
So it's like everything that's going on in the internal is externalized to be witnessed by others.
And that messiness, that exposure of the self.. it's alarming, right? It's painful to put it out there and it's also painful to receive.
And then everyone's like-
"oh... ohhhh, what's that smell?"
It's an energetic flatulence. That's art.
No wonder why it rhymes with fart.
So I think that when we are witnessing art, there's this like feeling of-
"oh... is that your organs?
Is that your flesh?
Is that your insides?"
Yes.
Yes, it is.
And that's what makes it art. The inability to hide.

Located in the city of Topeka, which has served as the capital of Kansas since it became a state in 1861. It is the second building to serve as the Kansas Capitol. The dome, at 304 ft (93 m), is taller than the 288 ft (88 m) United States Capitol dome, although its diameter (50 ft (15 m)) is approximately half that of the national capitol (96 ft (29 m)). It is one of the few capitols in the United States that continues to offer tours that go to the top of the dome.
A figure carved in shadowed stone tears open the cage of her own chest, unleashing a torrent of golden radiance that refuses containment. Cracks race across her form like ancient runes awakening, each fracture a testament to pressure survived and truth reclaimed. The light is not gentle; it is sovereign, erupting with the force of a long buried lineage demanding to be seen. This is the moment of ignition—the uprising of the inner world against the silence that tried to hold it.
I.
I was sculpted in quiet, shaped by centuries of restraint.
Stone learned my name before I ever spoke it.
But beneath the carved stillness, something burned.
A truth too bright to stay buried.
II.
The cracks began as whispers—small betrayals of the mask.
Hairline fractures tracing the map of my becoming.
Pressure made scripture of my silence.
And the stone could no longer hold its lie.
III.
When I tore myself open, the world flinched.
Light surged out like a forgotten inheritance.
It was not pain—it was revelation.
The body remembering its original fire.
IV.
I am not breaking; I am returning.
Returning to the glow that predates the wound.
Returning to the power that outlived the burial.
Returning to the self that refused extinction.
V.
Witness the radiance that survived the crushing.
Witness the heart that refused to dim.
I rise not as statue but as storm.
A luminous revolt against erasure.
VI.
Let the fractures widen; let the brilliance roar.
Let the old shell crumble into myth.
I am the ember that learned to roar like a sun.
I am the inheritance of every hidden flame.
VII.
Call it awakening if you must.
But I know it as remembering.
The light was always mine—
I simply stopped apologizing for it.
VIII.
So I stand here, incandescent and unbound.
Stone falling away like obsolete scripture.
The heart blazing its sovereign decree.
And the universe finally seeing me as fire.
Inner power will remain hidden until consciousness has changed.

Your inner flame is like the flame of a candle in that it is beautiful and perfectly magnificient exactly as it is. Also, if you share your inner flame with someone else the flame is all the more brighter and warmer.
Peace.
