A very cold night and a long exposure make for an interesting shot of steam plumes from a power plant.

A five year old enjoys his first experience with a fishing pole at Diamond Lake, Oregon in 1976.

The inner light into Wollongong Harbour 1 1/2 hours south of Sydney, New South Wales. This is 3 1/2 hours from home.

Hungry Mallards compete for tasty morsels (official duck food purchased on site) tossed into the water by my grandkids. These are wild, living at Spearfish City Park, Spearfish, South Dakota.

One of the last pics of the vine... its incredible windy today & the leaves are all falling down.

Changed the title... my niece Sarah (she is 9 years old) is great in finding the appropriate associations for my photographs :)

Just off the North side of highway 14 on the Western slope of the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming this view of the falls is an easy walk out onto an elevated viewing platform.

Snow covered Haralson apples. Despite it's appearance now, this started as a photograph. I have developed a process I call "Inner Light" and when it's applied to a photo it changes it into something beyond traditional photography, much like a painting.

Those "everyday" flowers...

it is good to look at them

a little closer sometimes

so we don't forget that

even in those everyday

things may lay beauty

and light!
