-------------------------

The sun drifts downward with a kind of quiet reluctance, until the mountain finally gathers it into its dark silhouette. For a moment, the world seems to hold its breath: the sky flares into vivid red, the sea turns to deep blue velvet, and all that remains is this silent conversation between light and water. It’s the day’s final gesture, burning and comforting in the same breath.

-------------------------

0450

For a moment, everything felt possible.

Then the silence arrived — not dramatic, not loud, just empty enough to extinguish the spark that had started to grow.

There’s a quiet ache that lives in all of us - a longing not just to be seen, but to be known. It’s the ache of walking through the world with stories tucked behind our ribs, hoping someone might ask the kind of question that unlocks them. It’s the ache of laughter that almost covers the loneliness, of strength that hides the softness we wish someone would touch gently.

And then there’s the awe.

The awe of connection. Of finding someone who doesn’t flinch at our truth. Who hears the tremble in our voice and leans in, not away. It’s the awe of shared silence, of glances that say more than words, of feeling like we belong - not because we’re perfect, but because we’re real.

To be alive is to carry both: the ache of isolation and the awe of intimacy. We crave closeness not just for comfort, but because it reminds us we’re not alone in our wondering. That someone else is out there, navigating the same questions, feeling the same pull toward meaning.

Intimate connection isn’t just romance or friendship - it’s the sacred exchange of presence. It’s saying, I see you, and hearing, I’m still here. It’s the moment when the ache softens and the awe expands, and we realize that maybe, just maybe, we’re building something beautiful together.

It begins where something can no longer hold.

Not everything shatters in the open.

Some things break quietly —

in the space between breath and what remains.

She does not stop it.

She does not turn away.

She holds it.

Not to keep it whole —

but to decide what remains.

Not broken — reformed.

"There is an inherent, almost biological design in childhood that compels it toward the good, the beautiful, and the just. It is a state of being naturally aligned with the light. In this frame, the child doesn't just run; she gravitates toward the sun as the ultimate source of truth and wonder. In stark contrast, the figures in the background represent the adult condition. We have lost that compass. We stand at the edge of the same immense beauty, yet we choose to look elsewhere, distracted by the mundane or lost in the 'nothingness' of our own thoughts. We have turned our backs on the fundamental to stare into the periphery.

The composition relies on a rigorous use of backlighting, which strips the subjects of their individuality and transforms them into universal archetypes. The vast, underexposed foreground of the sand serves as a psychological buffer, emphasizing the widening gap between the two worlds. Technically, the brilliance of the sun acts as a gravitational center, yet the true power of the shot lies in the divergent gaze of the subjects. The silhouettes don't just divide the space; they define a choice: the instinct to seek the light versus the habit of ignoring it.

She lets it burn.

The fire was never the enemy.

It was always meant to take something with it.

She does not reach for water.

She does not call it back.

She lets it burn.

Not out of loss —

but because she knows what remains cannot be saved by holding on.

Not broken — reformed.

She is no longer alone in herself.

She was never only one.

Not in the silence.

Not in the fire.

Not in what remained.

There were always others —

not beside her,

but within.

Not separate.

Not divided.

Just different ways of standing

in the same story.

Not broken — reformed.

Nothing moves — but everything has changed.

When the fire has passed,

and nothing asks to be held —

there is still something left.

Not untouched.

Not whole.

But present.

She does not search for what was lost.

She does not try to restore it.

She stands in what remains.

And lets it be enough.

Not broken — reformed.

What was defined begins to lose its form.

She Is Not Fully There

There was a moment

when she could still be held

in one shape.

That moment has passed.

She is not gone.

She is not broken.

She is simply no longer

only one thing at once.

Part of her remains.

Part of her has already left.

And neither is more true

than the other.

Not broken — reformed.

Not all architecture is meant to be inhabited… some is meant to be crossed.

This place does not seem to belong to the physical world, but to a deeper state of consciousness. Every column, every repeating form, every detail suspended in space builds a path that is not external… but internal.

The figures move toward a door that does not impose itself, yet calls. A light that does not blind, but holds something transformative.

It is not a destination… it is a threshold.

And crossing it means leaving something behind that cannot always be named.

She returns — but not as she was.

Between What Was and What Comes

She is no longer only what she was.

And not yet what she is becoming.

There is a moment

where both exist —

and neither fully holds.

She does not resist it.

She does not rush it.

She reaches into it.

Not to take control —

but to understand

what remains

when something changes form.

Not broken — reformed.

beneath the humming lifeblood of munich central station, a tale of two desires unfolds. a lonesome traveler strides, his path divergent from the beckoning "festwiese" sign, where echoes of oktoberfest revelry call. it's a silent narrative of choices and reflections—literally. his mirrored self, a ghostly silhouette, appears to glance towards the festivities, a doppelgänger drawn to what might have been. in this transient corridor of life's crossroads, every footfall is a story, a singular journey against the tide, a personal odyssey within the city's heartbeat.

Happy Friday Everyone

The world doesn’t stop just because we need a break. But sometimes, slowing down is exactly what helps us move forward. Today’s light felt like a gentle reminder: beauty doesn’t scream. It whispers through the wind in the trees, dances over the ripples of a still morning lake, and hums quietly as golden rays stretch across the sky.

I believe the most powerful moments are the silent ones – when you catch your breath and realize it’s okay to pause, smile, and just be. This photo is one of those moments, and I hope it brings you a small dose of that calm today.

Just trust yourself, then you will know how to live.

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

There is only one journey. Going inside yourself.

Rainer Maria Rilke

Your outer journey may contain a million steps;

your inner journey only has one :

the step you are taking right now.

This one step takes you into Being

and the light of Being will shine through it.

You can't calm the storm..so stop trying. What you can do is calm yourself. The storm will pass.

Looking for no direction.

Just a way

to disappear gently.

--------------------------------------------

Via d’uscita

In cerca di nessuna direzione.

Solo un modo

per sparire piano.

No one knew what lay at the top.

The light felt like an invitation—or a trap.

Each step erased something.

Breath was short, the backpack full of absences.

No direction.

Only the ancient gesture of climbing.

As if somewhere, high above,

something still had to happen.

Ogni scalino cancellava qualcosa.

Nessuna direzione.

Edge of Time……..

In search for the living light

Promised to us

From the beginnings of time

We start our journey

Wandering past the ages

Through our many lives

Without ever reaching

The edge of time

Hearing the call

We have to turn around

And start our journey anew

Into our most inner realms

Wandering through

The many rooms

Encountering our past

Going through our fears

Some say we will have

Seven circles to pass

Finally finding ourselves

At the edge of time

Encountering the light

So intensely bright

There is nothing to see

But darkness allover

Patiently standing still

Opening our inner eyes

We will be prepared

To melt into one

With the ONE light

Having surpassed

The edge of time.

playing with paint-over technique, me like it :)

Sometimes,

we feel the pull

a quiet ache to speak

with ourselves.

We reach inward,

fingers trembling with wonder,

trying to slip our hands

into the folds of our own soul,

to touch something true,

to find the voice beneath the noise.

But guess what

it’s only an attempt,

a whisper against the storm.

To truly reach that place,

we must walk a path

not paved in ease,

but in questions.

Not straight,

but spiraled,

winding through shadows and soft light.

It is a journey

not loud, but vast.

Not always kind,

but sometimes zen.

Where silence becomes a guide,

and stillness,

a key

Not everything meets to become one.

She is not holding anything.

She is becoming something

that no longer stays contained.

He does not reach for it.

He does not pull away.

He remains.

And in the space between them —

where nothing touches,

and nothing is held —

something still exists.

Not broken — reformed.

Nothing needs to be separated to remain.

She is no longer bound to where she began.

Not to time.

Not to place.

Not to a single version of herself.

What she carries

does not belong to an era.

It belongs to her.

And that is enough.

Not broken — reformed.

This maybe looks a bit grim, but was partly inspired by the Leonard Cohen song, stretched canvas, acrylic, size 32"-40" inch. www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmON_0bzUZc

The entrance is only the beginning…

Dite’s Velvet Forest is unfolding into a living, immersive world,

a space where each path, each light, each detail is designed to be felt beyond the surface.

From the first step, you are gently guided by a quiet presence…

through spaces of reflection, ritual, and awakening.

Crystals that whisper their meaning.

Sacred mirrors revealing hidden feminine archetypes.

A tree that offers guidance through tarot, one message at a time.

Moments of stillness through meditation…

and deeper journeys through sound and inner exploration.

Further within, the experience expands, into intimate spaces, sensory rituals, and a path of reconnection with the body, desire, and presence.

This is not just a region…

it is a journey.

✨ Opening soon

For those who feel beyond the surface.

What she sees is not separate from herself.

This time,

it is not her who is breaking.

He cannot hold his form.

Not in the way he thought he could.

She does not reach to stop it.

She does not turn away.

She meets him

in the moment it begins to fall apart.

Not to fix it.

Not to change it.

But to remain

when something else cannot.

Not broken — reformed.

for Week 37 (I think??) at Collage Play with Crowabout. Didn't use too many elements here but I had to follow my mind,,heart,,spirit.

9" x 12" on watercolor paper

She steps forward without needing certainty.

She has already seen

what it becomes.

She has already felt

what it takes.

There is nothing left

to question.

She does not hesitate.

She steps into it —

not to control it,

not to survive it,

but to become

what it has been asking of her

all along.

Not broken — reformed.
