There are moments when the light brushes against you and it feels like it’s touching a wound you’ve kept hidden for years. The kind that bleeds quietly, the kind you learned to live around. That soft brightness lands on you anyway, exposing the places you’ve gone numb, the places you’ve convinced yourself don’t matter anymore.

And suddenly you feel everything you’ve been holding back: the grief you never named, the loneliness you swallowed, the exhaustion that settled into your bones so slowly you mistook it for part of who you are. It’s overwhelming in a way that steals your breath, because you realize how long you’ve been surviving instead of living.

But in that raw, unguarded moment, something else stirs -something small, almost fragile. A longing you didn’t give yourself permission to feel. A quiet ache for gentleness, for rest, for a life that doesn’t require you to be so relentlessly strong. It’s terrifying to want that, to admit you’re tired of carrying the weight alone.

Yet there’s a strange, trembling hope in it too. Not the loud kind that promises everything will be okay, but the kind that whispers you might deserve more than the shadows you’ve grown accustomed to. The kind that asks you to stay still, to breathe, to let the light reach you even if it hurts. The kind that suggests healing begins not with triumph, but with finally allowing yourself to feel the depth of what you’ve survived.

There are moments when, despite your failures, denials, self‑recrimination, and the deep belief that you are unworthy, a quiet light of healing still manages to find you. If you allow yourself to respond to it, that light opens a space where you can finally admit your shortcomings without fear, release what you’ve been carrying, and begin to feel a wholeness you thought was lost to you forever.

It’s in these rare, honest pauses that we learn something essential: the grace we so freely offer to others is the same grace we must learn to extend to ourselves. Only then can healing take root, cleansing what has been wounded and guiding us back toward the person we are still capable of becoming.

Your passion ignites every possible color

Your burning boat lights up the whole night

Why do you deny your Love?

Why do you sing in secret?”

My answer floats on a river of tears

Hope has made my boat

And I feel afraid to drown

My Heart says to me:

“Foolish girl…

I Am your sinking and soaring

I am all your longings fulfilled

I Am the beginning and the end

How long will you still cower

In this game of hide and seek

While the Immortal songs

Align themselves in every moment

She slept on puddled water that smelled like rain

Wounded, bleeding and starving, yet she felt no pain.

Time seemed endless; the only indication of day was a dim light;

There was no bell, no watch, no clock to strike at midnight.

With passing time, her soul hardened as her mind purified

Alone, with thoughts of her own funeral, made her feel afraid, petrified.

Crumbling against the corner of the wall waiting to be fed

She could almost hear a clock ticking in her head

But even with all her sadness, there were no tears to be shed.

To stay sane she knew she would have to mentally fight

Because without confronting the darkness she knew one could never see the light.
