I put together a simple infographic that shared some key points about the article I chose. The article shared the results of three different meta-analyses students that spanned over 40 years.
This project began its life as a project for Golan Levin's information visualization class at Carnegie Mellon.
Each square represents an album, with sampled artists on the lower half and sampling artists on the upper half. Albums are placed horizontally according to release date, while vertical placement reflects the number of samples on that album. The middle resprents the area of most sampling, so commonly sampled albums are closer to the side with the sampling albums, and vice versa.
The rectangles that appear to the right of a selected album represent the individual songs. Songs with taller rectangles have a higher sample count.
The sampling data is from the-breaks.com, although album information for the sampling songs was collected through other means.
If you like video games or movies (or both) then hopefully you will find this infographic I made interesting. Or maybe it will just make you kind of sad.

The idea I want for my infographic is to create a timeline of the boss characters from a game called Bloodborne. I thought it would be interesting use the game because Bloodborne allows players to explore in many different paths including on who and when to fight the bosses. Bosses can be fought early or missed which makes the experience unique to the player.
I will add death counts as the game is famous for it's hard difficulty and will help visualise of the performance in each boss. Bosses will be put in the category of required and optional in order to tell what kind of path I will take. Icons for each boss will be created to tell each one apart. I might add story details or the strategies I used for each one like the weapons and items used.
