Happy 4th of July weekend the time of year my dogs nealy die of anxiety so people can blow stuff up . . .
In lieu of actual fireworks this year - a memory from last year.
Have been hearing booms for nearly a month so enjoy the light without the noise.
Actually bout 6 or 7 all rolled into one. Best if viewed large. Photo taken of the fireworks show at River Front Park in Down Town Spokane, WA State.

The Independence Day of Bangladesh (Bengali: স্বাধীনতা দিবস Shadhinôta Dibôs), also referred to as 26 March, is a national holiday. It commemorates the country's declaration of independence from Pakistan in the late hours of 25 March 1971 by the "Father of the Nation" Bongobondhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman before he was arrested by Pakistani forces.

Best if viewed large. Although our fireworks show only lasted about twenty minutes there were some beauties in there!

In 1739 a log and earthen gate guarded this north
side of the city. Coquina pillars were built in 1808.
A palm log wall ran from the gate to the Castillo.

I have never seen this movie, but I had taken a photo of the flag today, and this project grew from that. Add a Photoshop urban overlay, and an old photo of fireworks and use big huge labs to turn it into a poster. Fun. I hadn’t done this in years. That makes halfway through the year!
