In the small hours of a Sussex Sunday morning, it was time to add three pictures to my quirky but unglamorous album 'The Many Ways....' before returning to more mainstream fare.
The Modernist De La Warr Pavilion (1935) is of substantial architectural merit. The present day toilets appear to be a more recent addition and their signs reflect the modern, inclusive approach.

Many of the employees at the sanatorium were young women and many of them lived here on the second floor. This fact made the sanatorium, and especially this section, an attraction among the equally young men in the area. But that was a while ago.
