Consecrated in 1900. The church has undergone several restorations, but the design remains true to the original.

The design of this building is quite strange, has an unusual juxtaposition of traditional Korean construction -mainly exterior- and a Western Basilica style -mostly interior- symbolizing the beauty of harmony and Korean tradition.
