On January 2, 2013 Hawaii Supreme Court Chief Justice Mark Recktenwald administered the oath of office to five Honolulu City Council members: Ikaika Anderson; Ann Kobayashi; Joey Manahan; Ron Menor; and Kymberly Marcos Pine. Council Chairman Ernie Martin also welcomed Council members Stanley Chang, Carol Fukunaga and Breene Harimoto.

Outside the Trump Inauguration Rally at the Capitol One Arena, the day before the Inauguration. These photos were taken about an hour before the doors opened (and the rally was scheduled to start two hours after that) - so these people had already been waiting a long time, much of it in the rain.

On January 6, 2019 Karen Lee Scrivo was inaugurated as the new community minister at Paint Branch Unitarian Universalist Church in Adelphi, Maryland. Reverend Rachel Christiensen (left) assisted in the ceremony.
I think children and the elderly had the most difficult time. It was bitterly cold and extremely crowded, being the father of three children I really couldnt imagine taking them to an event like this.
