Taken with an iPhone 4 hipsta. Edited with an iPad 2

Follow up to the 'I dreamt I could fly' image

Well it was our 10th wedding anniversary yesterday, but we went out to the decent restaurant this evening. Nice night, good conversation, real wine, top food and an infinite quantity of clear space provided by the staff. Can't really ask for more.

Taken with an iPhone 3GS (Hipstamatic app).

Drop by drop, winter makes its exit. I, for one, couldn't be more excited. Taken with an iPhone 3GS (Hipstamatic app).

Some kids (grown up ones, maybe?) must've had a bit of fun in randomly decorating this wooden wall of a local shed. It made me smile :-)

iPhone/Hipstamatic: John S lens | Ina's 1969 film | Cherryshine flash

Taken with an iPhone 4 macro, hipsta. I have so many of these which have never been shared at Flickr before. I've always wanted to bring them over ... Please bear with me :)

Sometimes I get comfortable doing something a certain way. I stop trying the new or play around with settings. I stop thinking about what I'm doing.

When it comes to photos, I am a HUGE control freak. Manual. Always. So I'm not sure what made me think to use the shake to shuffle feature on the Hipstamatic camera but I did.

I took a photo, shook the camera, it randomly chose the film, lens and flash then I took another photo. I think I did this for half hour or so.

After about 20 shots or so I took some time to look at how they came out.

First photo, horrible.

Second even worse.

The third shot was horrid as well as the fourth which I think combined my least favorite lens with my least favorite film and flash.

But then the fifth wasn't too bad and the six shot was amazing to me. The random combination used to treat the shot, I don't think I ever really would have used.

It made me stop and think for a minute. It gave me new ideas. It gave me inspiration. -

It also gave me the thought to reach down to the dog laying next to me and grab his chew toy he was gnawing and chuck it across the backyard. Which I don't think was the best idea since he had to run directly over me to fetch it. -
