Gaza : tuer la mémoire
L’on se rappelle qu’aux temps déjà anciens du misérable quinquennat du « socialiste » François Hollande, son équipier de Matignon – le consternant Manuel Valls, qui ne restait jamais plus de quelques jours sans proférer quelque nouvelle nigauderie droitière – avait décrété, après les attentats de novembre 2015 : « J’en ai assez de ceux qui cherchent en permanence des excuses ou des explications culturelles ou sociologiques à ce qui s’est passé. Car expliquer, c’est déjà vouloir un peu excuser. »
Ce dernier précepte, qui ressemble d’assez près à un tombeau pour l’intelligence, a toujours des adeptes, qui désormais lui ajoutent un raffinement supplémentaire, en refusant purement et simplement – et sous le même prétexte, suprêmement bête et méchant (et tout à fait diffamatoire), que la réflexion vaudrait acquittement – toute contextualisation de l’actualité proche-orientale.

Après l’attaque terroriste du Hamas contre Israël, le 7 octobre 2023, le commentariat dominant s’est ainsi précipité pour interdire que cet assaut, abominable, soit tout de même resitué dans le contexte des persécutions qu’Israël impose depuis plusieurs décennies aux Palestinien·nes de Gaza (et d’ailleurs). Six mois plus tard, les mêmes – exactement – usent du même procédé pour dénoncer, après que Téhéran a lancé le 13 avril plusieurs centaines de drones et de missiles vers Israël, ce qu’ils appellent « l’attaque de l’Iran », et pour se demander « à quoi pourrait ressembler une contre-attaque de l’État hébreu » (1).

Cette présentation tord brutalement la réalité et inverse, à dessein (2), l’ordre des (ir)responsabilités, puisque, dans la vraie vie, c’est d’abord Israël qui a attaqué l’Iran en rasant un pan de son ambassade à Damas (Syrie), représentation diplomatique considérée comme faisant partie du territoire national – et en principe intouchable –, dans des frappes où seize personnes ont été tuées.

Comme l’écrivait il y a quinze jours le camarade Sieffert dans son édito : « Quelle que soit la détestation que l’on peut éprouver pour le régime des mollahs » – et elle n’est pas petite –, cette « attaque israélienne » constituait « un acte de guerre », s’expliquant comme suit : « Dans sa terrifiante fuite en avant, le gouvernement Netanyahou », qui a déjà massacré à Gaza plus de 33 000 Palestinien·nes, « veut provoquer l’embrasement généralisé ».

On sait l’objectif, immensément dégueulasse, des commentateurs et commentatrices qui s’obstinent à tuer la mémoire, lointaine ou immédiate, de certains contextes – dont le rappel, évidemment, n’excuse aucune atrocité : ces tristes filou·tes, en suggérant ainsi qu’elles seraient une forme d’assentiment au terrorisme ou à la tyrannie, veulent disqualifier les mobilisations propalestiniennes – et toute protestation contre le génocide en cours à Gaza.
